Many years passed. And the family of Noah splintered and spread across the earth. They spoke different languages and founded new nations. And God watched, waiting for the right moment, the right family, the right place to plant the seeds of his paradise, to begin construction on his tower, to break ground on a project called, “heaven on earth.”
And so God looked and looked and looked until he found a man and his wife. The man we know today as Abraham and his wife we know as Sarah. But back then, they were called Abram and Sarai. They were young and smart but they had a lot to learn about God if they were ever going to build his city. And so God told Abram to pack up all of their things because they were going to move to a new country.
