We are almost to the end of this storybook. And yet it feels like we’re at the beginning. More and more people are returning to Jerusalem from Persia, from Egypt, from all around the world. The family of Jacob is coming together again. And they are trying to build God’s city, a city where everyone is taken care of, where suffering is met with kindness, need with support, and sadness with love.
And it sounds like an amazing place, if only someone could ever actually build it. Will they do it this time? Well, what do you think? As the people built, one builder accidentally tripped over another, and they both got a little hurt, which made them angry, and then one of them let out a curse word, and they both were about to fight when they remembered, “Oh shoot, we are supposed to be righteous.
