Has someone hurt you?
Are you struggling to forgive?
Do you feel estranged from family, from your faith community, or from others in your country?
You are not alone. Where Peace Begins, a new video series from Faith Matters, addresses the inevitable conflict we feel as we navigate a world of difference. It also offers space for moral imagination to emerge when the path ahead feels unclear and peacemaking tools that offer hope.
Join us on March 22nd at The Compass for an exclusive advanced viewing and discussion of Where Peace Begins, with producers Patrick Mason and Chad Ford, director Tay Steele, and video guests LaShawn Williams and Pastor Jamie White. A reception will follow with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet others who are committed to peacemaking. We hope you will join us.
Where Peace Begins is a series comprising of eight short videos featuring therapists, pastors, mediators, and peace educators, including Thomas McConkie, Jennifer-Finlayson Fife, LaShawn Williams, Jamie White, Desmond Lomax, Rashied Omar, Chad Ford, and Patrick Mason. These peacemakers share their personal struggles in reconciling their own challenges at home and in the world while simultaneously assisting others in finding their own path through conflict.
We are grateful for the support and guidance from the One America Movement in producing this series.
